Biostatistics Team
Anna Korpak, PhD, is the Lead Biostatistician at the Seattle ERIC. Her analytic career in observational and clinical trials research spans over 15 years in a variety of settings, including ICU pulmonology, dentistry, and geriatric care. She completed her doctorate in Biostatistics at the University of Washington School of Public Health in 2016. Dr. Korpak joined the Seattle ERIC in April 2017. Her current work includes managing the ERIC Biostatistics team, and collaborating with investigators, data managers, and fellow statisticians to plan, analyze, and report results from studies with the ERIC. She also serves as a Biostatistician on the CSR&D Medical/Surgical Disorders Centralized Data Monitoring Committee (DMC).
Aaron Baraff, PhD, is a biostatistician at the Seattle ERIC. Aaron received his MS in Statistics at Portland State University in 2010. He completed his doctorate in Statistics at the University of Washington in 2022. His responsibilities include assisting with research involving the Vietnam-Era Twin (VET) Registry and CSP #595: Service and Health during the Iraq and Afghanistan Era, as well as collaborating with investigators and data managers in the design, analysis, and reporting of other studies with the Seattle ERIC. Aaron joined the ERIC in March 2019.
Chris Forsberg, MS, is a biostatistician at the Seattle ERIC. Chris received his MS in Biostatistics from the University of Washington School of Public Health in 2007. His primary role is to provide statistical support for the Vietnam Era Twin Registry. Chris also collaborates with ERIC and non-ERIC investigators and staff to design and conduct analyses, identify data and statistical methods necessary to support research, and prepare scientific manuscripts and reports. Chris joined the Seattle ERIC in October 2007. He enjoys long walks along the shores of Lake Washington.
Amy Jeon, MS, is a biostatistician at the Seattle ERIC. Amy received her MS in Biostatistics from Oregon Health & Science University - Portland State University (OHSU - PSU) School of Public Health in 2020. Her primary role is to provide epidemiologic and biostatistical support while collaborating with investigators on research design, implementation, and quantitative/qualitative data analysis. Amy joined the Seattle ERIC in January 2021.
Andrew K. Timmons, MS, is a biostatistician at the Seattle ERIC. Andrew received his MS in Biostatistics from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health in 2016. His primary role is to provide statistical support for CSP #595: Service and Health during the Iraq and Afghanistan Era, and ERIC investigator led studies in the areas of back pain and lower extremity disease. He also works with investigators, data managers, and study teams inside and outside the ERIC in all stages of design and analysis. Andrew joined the ERIC in April 2017.
